The National Exhibition of antique Pennabilli turns forty. Memories crowd in mind, sharp, however, remains the figure of Professor Gobbi, Rimini pediatrician who attended all our children, linked to us from deep friendship. With him in 1970 we give life to Pennabilli, the first conference on the importance of climate in pediatrics, so the idea to organize a medical conference in our country. In planning the conference was, however, invent entertainment for the many people who would come up here. I said, we do an exhibition of antiques! I knew the environment and then with his friend Ivan Bruschi - antiques famous name - and Prof. Joseph Mazzoli, with the help of Dr. Mario Lucarini, friend Cino dell'infaticabile Don Enzo Valentini and Busca, we gave life to this adventure. Immediately Antique Show takes precedence over medical conference that will, for several years, towing becoming the most important event, able to raise annually the name of Pennabilli, promoting and publicizing the entire EU territory and up the valley to enter, with full merit among the most prestigious antique shows nationwide.

With friends Valerio Volpini, Gianfranco Sabbatini, Gaston Moscow give life to that line of side events in art, history and culture that has increasingly characterized our review, involving the University of Urbino and the Marches in Rome, with the head characters such as Pericles Fazzini, Remo Brindisi, and Walter has pleased many others. With historians F. Victor Lombardi Giancarlo Renzi, which subsequently adds Prof. Giuliana Gardelli, we have created important cultural events and qualified. So the exhibition was not only antiques: it, even through the association, was driving to Pennabilli for everything related to culture, history, environment. But the centerpiece of the exhibition were the many friends antique dealers: those that are no longer with us and many others who have honored and honor our review, enhancing it with their constant presence over the years. They have been the principal architects of our review. At this point I can not forget some names of prestigious institutions such as personality Spadolini Senate President and the Prime Minister Forlani inaugurating the reviews that have honored us with their presence the exhibition. And how can we forget the Honor Committee which also joined the illustrious personalities of culture, art, history and the work they have thus brought honor to our Association.

A thought goes out to many young people today, almost all adults, who have worked in various capacities with our association. Those young people under the leadership of my son Joseph, year after year, were the protagonists of the creation of an event as complex and today, most of them have joined the list of members additional to those that contributed to create that association since its inception. Each year a school, the building that hosts us, it becomes a lounge, a museum, a treasure chest.
